A local land mark, the pink Alpine Drive Inn. Great burgers, I got a double bacon cheese burger and it was very filling. The onion rings taste phenomenal! It was a great place to sit down with the family and enjoy a nice lunch after a hike to the falls. To finish off my stop I ordered a M&M avalanche. The first few bites were great but soon it seemed like I was just eating M&Ms, too many for my liking. If they did a third of the M&Ms it would have been perfect and this would have been a 5 star review. I’ll update this review if they end up taking my advice, But GREAT PLACE! I’ll be back.

The best part of this place is the shakes. The one I had was so delicious Burger and fries were middle of the road . The Chili and cheese is dispenser type but big portion of fries. 2 burgers, chili cheese fries and a shake was $46 . You can decide if thats good for you

And went here a little skeptical. Because it did look a little run down... Unfortunately, I had to wait about 8 minutes before they even took my order, which was unfortunate. Otherwise I would have given it five . But overall, I had great customer service. I ordered a butterfinger reesey's pieces. Avalanches large . And their chicken nuggets, and honestly it was pretty good... I've got their burgers before and they're honestly not that great, but overall I would definitely go again ....

The Alpine is a great, local burger shop! I've been coming here since 1993 and have never been disappointed. The cost for the amount of food I received was good. Granted, I only come to Burney once a year, but I still think the prices are fair. The portions are huge. The fries are perfect: crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There wasn't much salt on the fries, which I appreciate because I like to add my own salt. The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, and fresh. The veggies were also very fresh. The lettuce was crisp and crunchy. I tasted the meat by itself; it was high quality. The sauce quality and quantity was good too. As I ate my buger, it did not fall apart, nor did it drip everywhere. Honestly, burgers are my favorite go-to meal, and my wife and I have made several road trips across the U.S. I have tried hundreds of burgers from hundreds of small, local shops, The Alpine consistenly stays in my top 10 for little burger joints. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I wish I had left a bigger tip! I am glad I live out of state because I'd be here multiple times a week. To the owners and staff of The Alpine: you are doing fantastic! Please don't change a thing. Thank you. (I took my burger back to my grandpa's house, hence the plate and weird tablecloth setup in the photo.)

Grabbed lunch on our way to Alturas. Got there just before a crowd. The window server was friendly. You could watch the cooks make the food. It took about 15 minutes for our order, but they advised us that they were short staffed so the wait would be longer. Our food was tasty. I had a cheese burger. The cheese covered the whole patty. There were tomato, chopped onion and lettuce on it. The bun was soft. I opted to eat it open faced as the bun overwhelmed the burger. The onion rings were hot and were crunchy. My husband had the chicken nuggets. He said the coating was crunchy and had a nice spice. They were meaty. The milkshakes were thick.

We went to the this cute burger place on Sunday after we had lunch at Julio's . Some of the people we were with wanted ice cream and the ones that live in Burney suggested Alpine Drive Inn. Before this visit I had a burger a few years back from here. I didn't physically go to the restaurant for that visit since it was during COVID. My friend's brother picked it up and brought the food to Burney park. From what I remember, the burgers were good. This visit I only had a banana milkshake and my friends had milkshakes too, but they had heath flavor and/or Oreo. We went through the drive thru. It wasn't fast but our shakes were good . The young man that took our order was polite. When all was said in done I think it took 20-30 minutes. There were several people ahead of us . I'm not surprised , it was a nice day. What we ordered on this visit was good and what I had a while back on a past visit was good. If I am not in a hurry I wouldn't mind coming back again. Maybe next time I will check out the inside.
